My Role
As a generalist with a passion for different aspects of design and storytelling, I was thrilled to recieve this commision from p5.js to craft a compelling experience for their introductory hello p5 video. In this project, I produced the entire video from concept to implementation:-
Scriptwriting & Creative Direction: Collaborated with Qianqian Ye, p5.js’s ex-project lead, to craft an engaging narrative and consolidate the messages we want p5.js to send.
- Video Production: Shot, edited, and polished the video for clarity and visual appeal. I took the videos in studio setting, then used Adobe Premiere and After Effects for edit, Runway ML for polishing the footages.
- Interactive Programming: Developed an interactive p5.js layer using JavaScript, Popcorn.js to be specific, matching the timecode to interactive sketches to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Web Implementation: Designed and built the website to house the video, making it responsive and accessible to maximize impact for a global audience.
